Cork: a natural
and traditional product.
Our
agglomerated and elastomer cork is made by crushing cork waste which
is then calibrated and purified to different particle sizes.
The agglomeration
is carried out by mixing cork aggregate with selected binders, in
different proportions depending on the product reference. After
compression, the paste obtained is moulded cold or vulcanised in
the form of cylinders or six-sided parallelepipeds which will be
unrolled or sliced into different thicknesses.

Uses
for elastomer cork
Elastomer
cork is a high quality natural product which is temperature and
hydrocarbon resistant. Our mixes are carefully prepared according
to customer specifications, to obtain all the physical and mechanical
properties required for the manufacture of joints used in the automotive
and gas industries, amongst others...
This
material has several physical qualities:
- insulating
-
compressible
-
supple
- pin boards
- decoration: advertising supports,
mock-ups, leisure (games), etc.
- corks: floaters, balls
